I heard there was a carving of the Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues in the rock formations somewhere in the Little Mermaid line. ( A tribute to the old attraction ) I looked for it last year, but couldn't find anything. Has anyone ever seen this? Where is it exactly?

Hmmm...I hadn't heard that one.

But...there is a "carving" of a Nautilus sub inside the Pooh tree. I'm not sure if you can still go inside of it or not.

I've known of this for quite some time, I've even seen pics of it on the net, however I am yet to see it in person.

There is a very subtle outline of the nautilus etched in the rock work in the queue. There's also a squid weathervane above the vacation club building that's another nod to the attraction

I love this. My favorite ride as a child was 20,000 leagues.

20,000 was great, and I longed for it for several years as a kid.

I wish I could have bought one of the old submarines. It have been awesome in the backyard.

Going to go to DL this year, and ride Nemo's Subs. See if that itches the scratch.

There is a Nautilus at Disney Paris I heard.

Didn't you say you're going in May? Nemo is down until September.

I googled this and found a pic of the Nautilus sub that is imbedded into the rock work at Little Mermaid. I'll have to look for it in June!

I looked it up too - so cool! Seems to be "visible across the final tidal pool before you enter the caves".

Can't wait to look for it. Thanks for bringing this up Scallywag!

Yeah, I forgot that for a moment. I'm not excited about our DL trip. Apparently, they take half the park offline for refurb.

But, hopefully I'll at least see the tidal pool w/ parked subs.

My son and I looked for it last year, but we didn't know exactly where it was. We never found it. We will be sure to take a look where you said it was. Leaving in June. Thanks!!!
