Early check in?

If I put in a room request at AKL do I have a better or worse shot of getting it if I go online and do early check in?

We have had good and bad luck both ways. Conventional wisdom says the earlier you book and do online check in, the better the chances, unfortunately, not always.

It is better if you check in early, since there may be more rooms to choose from than checking in later.

But, it doesn't mean that you'll end up with what you want ... we've had great luck checking in early, and other times still not gotten what we requested.

That question can not be accurately answered, but for me, checking in early has always worked out and we have always (knock on wood) been lucky enough to get our requests honored. :thumbsup:

Either way, they should work with you at check-in to grant any requests not granted during room assignment.
