Fave at Downtown Disney

Do you have a favorite spot for dinner in Downtown Disney (on the dining plan)? It's been so long since I have been over there and it seems like LOTS of choices (group of 3 adults going.)

My personal favorite is Raglan Road. Good food, good beer and entertainment.

The food at raglan road is really good and we didn't see the entertainment but I have heard from family members that it was wonderful.

Cookes of Dublin was a really good quick service place. Also, Rainforest Cafe has great ambience and good ribs.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe, on the westside, not the express, but the TS. Nice place, good service and much quieter/nicer than other DTD restaurants for a group of adults

DW and I really enjoyed Portobello.

We have recently been enjoying Paradiso 37. A must for us is Wolfgang Puck Express for counter service.

I agree with Mel for the group you describe. 3 adults can definitely have a lot of fun at Raglan Road! The atmosphere alone is very entertaining and infectious. :thumbsup:

Raglan Road was good, we like Wolfgang Puck Express too

Used to be Raglan Road, until the last time we got the Scallop Forrest and they gave us 1/2 scallops instead of full ones. We used to get 5 large scallops on forks (they put a scallop on each fork and stand them end), but the last time a couple years ago we got 5 small 1/2 scallops for the same price. When we questioned it, we were snapped at by our server saying "That's how they've always been!" Never went back.

Tried Portobello for a late lunch for the first time this past December, and we loved it! Fantastic food and great service. We will definitely visit again!

T-Rex café is a must do every trip for us. We are also big fans of Rainforest. Atmosphere in both is really cool, the menus are bigger than most places on the dining plan, the portion sizes are pretty big and the food is always good.:thumbsup:

I totally agree.

I would avoid Rainforest or T-Rex if you want to hear what the people at your table are saying.

Raglan Rd and Paradiso
last time I tried Wolfgangs I was unimpressed..yrs ago I liked it.
I went to DD a few wks ago...RR had a 40 min wait so went to Paradiso again and was seated right away. very good meal again just like the last trip
