And I have to share this happy news with those that "get it"!
So I'm about 115 days away from my next trip - my first since 2010. My sister and I are going with my best friend and his son. We're also being joined by some friends of ours from England, who got engaged at WDW in December and are busy planning their dream wedding at WDW next year.
It will be a bittersweet trip as well as my friend lost his wife suddenly in 2012. We plan to celebrate our angel on this trip, as this was what she loved as well. So when we started planning the trip, it didn't really surprise me when my BFF picked Port Orleans for the hotel, as their first trip together, they stayed at Dixie Landings. Having never stayed at POR, I was looking forward to the trip.
So he tells me he has a surprise and we can't see any of the paperwork for the trip (it was all being sent to him) and we were just going to have to trust him for a while. Well...this weekend I went for a visit and got my package so I could customize my Magic Bands. I'm looking at the little booklet inside, open it up, and there inside the cover it says....
Resort: WILDERNESS LODGE!
He and the cast member got all sneaky and worked up quotes to send to us with a price for POR - he then turned around and booked a trip for WL and covered the rest.
I CAN'T EVEN. I've ALWAYS wanted to stay there ever since I saw it at Christmas time!
