Linking Magic Bands

We are staying at WL for 2 nights both before and after a 4-night cruise in May. We booked our first 2 nights as a package with our tickets. The second 2 nights were booked as a room-only. As a result, we have 2 sets of Magic Bands each. This wouldn't be much of an issue, except that the park tickets for the 2nd part of the trip will be on the Bands for the 1st part. I want to be able to link the tickets to the 2nd set of bands so that I don't have to carry around 2 sets of bands that last 2 nights. Has anyone had success doing this? Or doing something similar? Thanks!

The information isn't actually on the bands. It is on the MM website and the bands are just a way to read it. If you link both bands you can use both bands. If you only link one band, you can use that same band for your whole trip. It is because the band is linked to the website. If you want to use one or both it is totally up to you.
