So I saw the movie Saving Mr. Banks and I enjoyed it very much. It was very powerful (especially when Walt was onscreen). Tom hanks did a genius job. Very inspiring.

I'm a HUGE Walt Elias Disney fan/admirer.

However, I think the Disney corporation is missing what seems to be "right under their nose".....a full biography of Walt on the big screen from his childhood all the way up to the day Walt Disney world opened up w/o Walt, the man who created it all. Now that's a powerful movie.

I was disappointed that Saving mr banks lacked Screen time for Walt but more focused on PL travers which is fine but I noticed a proud almost choked up moment anytime. Walt was onscreen. Sent proud chills up my spine.....

Who's with me....Full biography of Walt Elias Disney on the big screen......what are you waiting for Disney??????:mickey::mickey::mickey:

:cop: POTENTIAL SPOLIER ALERT :cop:

The film was not supposed to be a Disney documentary that focused on Walt. Rather, Walt was intended to be a supporting role and P.L. Travers to be the main protagonist. I thought the balance in the film was perfect but agree that a Walt specific drama would be awesome, as I've said before. And when your subject is "Saving Mr. Who" I assume you didn't understand why Disney was half the story. But "Saving Mr. Banks" is about saving Mr. George Banks or his corresondence in real-life, Travers' father, Travers Goff. We're supposed to be learning why Pamela acted the way she did over her stories.

By the way, we already have a conversation going in the dedicated "Movies" section, here:
