The first day at Epcot last week we noticed a sign for The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs placed over the Off Kilter sign. I assumed a temporary name change for the holiday's, but when the band came out, only Mark the bass player was from Off Kilter.
Someone was saying that Disney wanted the band to play more Christmas music and some of the Off Kilter guys resisted. He also said the drummer had be forced out.
The next day we where at Epcot it appeared to be all Off Kilter band members, except for the drummer and lead singer. Jamie was in the band, but did not appear to be very happy.
After the set, I talked to him and he said they would be back after the holiday period.
Does anyone know the true story on this?
By the way, the English Invasion was not forced to play holiday music.
So if you are looking forward to seeing Off Kilter, it's possible you won't see them all together.
By the way, the other band wasn't bad. It rotated two female lead singers.
