Magic Bands and Table Service

I'm just wondering how they calculate your dining package on the Magic Bands. Previously, when we ate at a table service restaurant, and we were on the DDP, we could just hand them one KTTW card, and they would take off for everyone in your room. Will we all have to have our magic bands scanned when we go out to dinner? We have a group of 21 so I'm thinking this could get tedious.

Having a band is the same as having a card.

We felt it went quicker with the bands than with the cards. You still only need one band per room and it takes the meal off for all guests in that room.

We just got back from a trip with 25. We were all on the dining plan, had 5 rooms, and all had the bands. It was quick and easy. No worries!

They will bring a device to the table and scan a band. Nothing more than that was needed when we were there about a month ago.
