We have our ADR for Crystal Palace for 8:30 AM and I know the park does not open until 9 AM. Do I inform them when entering that we need to be at CP by 8:30 and then they allow us to just go in?

They will actually have your information at the front gate marked especially for early dining. They are really good with the early reservations at the CP.

Make sure you get there extra early. Last time we had reservations for CP before opening, the 'old car/taxi?' was running and it gave us a ride down Main Street. So fun!

It won't be a problem at all.

We've had a number of early breakfasts at MK, and they seem to be the most lax about letting people in before park opening. Sometimes they checked our name off a list, other times we were just allowed it.

Be sure to be a few minutes early, take some pictures on a quiet(er) Main Street and enjoy breakfast!

We always schedule breakfast here before the park opens. They know automatically and WDW transportation is running for you, though you should plan on waiting a bit longer than normal for a bus. Definitely leave yourself time to take photos in front of the castle - it is about the only time you can do it without another person in the shot!

There will be an area to the left for guests dining before park opening to enter and a Cast Member there to receive you.

Doing the early breakfast at CP is the best.
We have some or our very best family pictures at MK by doing it that way. Nobody in the park or more importantly in front of Walt, Mickey and the Castle!!! We brought Santa hats one year took the pictures in May and made it our Christmas card that year.

Enjoy!!!
