Another FastPass Question

I have a client heading to Disney this weekend. The question they have asked is: If they have a park hopper and plan to go to two parks in one day, do they get to choose three fastpass rides for each park in that one day?

As I haven't been since they started this new system I didn't have an answer. Can someone clue me in?:confused:

If they have a MagicBand, and are using FP+ they get to make 3 selections for the day. All 3 of the selections have to be in the same park (as far as I'm aware), so it may be to their advantage to pick rides in the 2nd park, and use the earlier start to their advantage in the first park. If they are using FP+, they should make their selections as soon as possible.

If they are using "regular"/old FP, then they can get as many FPs as they like, in each of the parks. The old rules still apply, where they have to wait until their ride time, or until 2 hours have passed before getting another FP.
