Yea I just booked for August 2014. Got the 40% off room at Shades of Green. I a soooo excited.:mickey: Anyone else taking advantage of this opportunity?

That's an incredible deal! There is a possibility we may be in the area for a few days during that time. I'll have to keep my eye on it. :thumbsup:

Looks like the promotion the OP is speaking of is only from August 17-31 of next year. Details can be found on the Shades of Green webpage.

SOG does not list a cutoff for this promotion either. They do say it will decrease as time goes on so if you can take advantage now.

All I see is September....nothing for August, am I missing something?!?!?

It doesn't always list on the specials tab, sometimes a banner at the top of web site has it. If you plug in the dates for reservations it will come up. You can always call and obtain rooms that way too.

I saw it on the right hand side, on one of the pop up special boxes.

It's now showing September as 40% off and August 17-31 as "starting at $89", so I guess they changed the special!

Steve's Military Disney Tips newsletter originally showed the special as 40% off for bookings from 17 August thru 30 September 2014, which is what SOG had at their website.

(Very difficult not to rush to book when I read that!)

SOG's website now shows what mudpuppysmom mentions. Steve did say that SOG changes the specials.
