going w my gf in Dec. never ate in the castle. Ive eaten lunch at BOG and it wasn't bad. and I used to love Akershus preprincess...ive only eaten there once since. I do like the cold board meats and cheeses they have..and its in Epcot.
is cinderellas castle worth the price for lunch wo kids.

No, but maybe just to say you've did it.

Is it "worth it". No. However, there is something about eating in the "castle" that might make it worth it for your GF.

However, unless you really want to meet the princesses, I'd go with BOG for lunch. Much less costly, lovely surroundings and good food.

Can you get a reservation at either restaurant? I loved BOG for dinner.

We've done CRT for dinner & wasn't impressed with the food. The whimsical atmosphere on the other hand was nice.
We did enjoy Akershus both times we've went.
BOG had good food but I expected a bit more on the flavor side. Seems like they played it too safe. Atmosphere was great.

For me I'd probably give Akershus a slight edge over BOG because I enjoyed the food more.

Def not worth it. We were extremely underwhelmed, there are so many good places to eat. How about Ohana or narcoosees? :eat:

Of your 3 I would pick BOG but if you want the security of a confirmed seating time I'd go with Akurshus.

IMO opinion I would say no. Without kids I really don't see reason to spend the money and dine in the castle. Honestly I wouldn't do any of the character dining without kids. It is expensive and takes up a lot of time.

The castle is a great atmosphere, but the food is not all that good. I'd say for two, no kids, it would be fun !!! Try it !!:mickey:

I agree with the others, Cinderellas Royal Table in the castle is NOT worth it. Our worst meal ever in WDW was there. The food was just not very good at all. We all had different things and nobody liked their food.

However, the atmosphere was kind of cool; especially if you are there during the fireworks. We will never eat there again though.
