For our upcoming trip in October for our day in Epcot we chose the Illuminations option as our third FP+ choice. Any thoughts out there on how that will work? Will they limit the number of people they let into that desicnated area?

For our upcoming trip in October for our day in Epcot we chose the Illuminations option as our third FP+ choice.

1- Any thoughts out there on how that will work?

2- Will they limit the number of people they let into that desicnated area?

1- The IllumiNations viewing location is currently at Showcase Plaza
(at the WS end of the bridge from FW, between the "twin gift shops.") A prime viewing location.
That location may or may not change at various times of the year.

2- Yes.

That sounds like a good spot. Let us know how it is set up. ;)

That is the same area they use for the Illuminations viewing that is included in the Candlelight Processional dinner package. We watched from there last year and it was a great spot. The area is huge and holds an amazing number of people. We got there about an hour ahead of time and chose a spot in the very back of the viewing area against a curb (in order to make a hasty retreat). Because that whole area is sloped, we were able to see perfectly even though there were many people in front of us.
