WhooHoo...I got it

I got the apartment I wanted...sort of. This is at the place I have been looking at online for the past two/three months. It was my first choice location. The apartment is unfortunatly on the second floor, but it has an inside entry. Upside, that give me extra storage...and excercise going up/down the stairs.

Tomorrow I go down to pick up my welcome letter. The current tennant is moving out by the 31st. Just have to wait for them to clean/paint the appartment and then I can move in.

Going to call for the furniture to be shipped out later today since it will take at least 14+ days to get to FL.

I really wanted the 2br townhouse, but it was not available. This one is a 2br/2bath and will be sufficent for now. At least I won't be living out of a suitcase much longer. I am really ready to have my new home and settle in.

Hopefully it won't take them long to get the apt. ready. I will move in even without the furniture and camp out on air mattresses.

Yay! Its nice seeing a plan to come together. Nothing is worse then limbo! I'm sure your dog will also be thrilled to be settled in one place.

She sure will. I can't wait to see her tomorrow. I will be glad to be in one place and not playing the nomad lifestyle.

Yesterday after we checked out of AKL, & picked up Ginger, we headed over to the apt to pick up my welcome letter. It has the numbers of who to call and set up my water etc.

I saw the tennant moving out of our soon to be apt. So everything is going well at this point. They are going to try and paint and clean up asap so I can be in quicker. Even if it means camping out on air mattresses.

Called for the furniture to be sent out. It could take between 7 and 14 days for that. I gave them a later move in date for now. At least I avoided the storage fees. After 30 days it automatically goes into storage unless called for before the 30 day limit.

Looking so real now and I won't be living out of a suitcase.:D
