Hi! I leave for Disney world in 4 days!!! I'll be with my mom, niece (5) and nephew (8). I'm wondering how hot it will be in the stands in late August and whether its too uncomfortable with little ones.

Go to the later-afternoon show, when the sun is behind the grandstands and you're in the shade :) Anything before about 2:00, and the sun is nearly directly overhead. The stands face east, so with the later shows, the sun's behind you.

We've been in late August. Good advice to go later in the afternoon. We went to the 1:00 show and climbed to a higher spot to sit in the shade. It was still warm, but bearable. Make sure you have some water to re-hydrate while you are sitting in the shade.

It really is a great show and will hopefully keep the little ones enthralled.

Have a great trip!

We also attended the early afternoon show (1pm?) in August and sat under the overhang where it was shaded with our DD9 & DS5. We had a great view of everything and heat wise it was acceptable. The show was really cool. Do it.:flag2::truck:

Head as far up as you can and take water and you will be fine! Love that show!
