I also think it is fun when you see connections between other movies/shows that have nothing to do with each other.
I went to a Steve Martin concert that featured Edie Brickell ( who happens to be married to Paul Simon) and a bluegrass band in Philly a few weeks ago. Edie sang in the closing credits for The Way Way Back ( not sure if she sang during the movie). I would not have even known who she was a few weeks ago.
And I watched The Grown Ups tonight and the water park they went to was called Water Wizz. I think that was the name of the park in The Way Way Back also. Is that a real park or do the movies just have some kind of connection with production companies or something.
I was going to see The List but I think I will wait until it comes out on DVD.
