Magic bands and FastPass +

I logged in to My Disney Experience to check on my reservations and it ask me to pick colors for the bands and set up fast pass +

I am confused...it says I have 4 more days to do this. I am not sure if I have to this or not :confused::confused:

Unless Disney has contacted you directly via eMail that you are part of an upcoming test, you can ignore that info.
The info is up there for only a specific few guests, but it shows up on everyone's device.

Thanks.... I did not want the added confusion of this on the trip. It sounds good but would rather wait to all the kinks are gone.

Yes. You can reserve access to multiple FastPass+ attractions or entertainment experiences—the specific number depends on availability. In general, you will be able to select up to 3 FastPass+ attractions and entertainment experiences each day at one theme park. For extra convenience, you can even make selections up to 60 days in advance of your visit.And



The total number of FastPass+ experiences available to you during your visit depends on several factors including availability and the vacation packages and tickets linked to your Disney account. Generally, FastPass+ eligible Guests are able to select one set of FastPass+ experiences each day for every valid theme park ticket linked to their account.

Depending on availability, you should be able to reserve access to up to 3 FastPass+ attractions and entertainment experiences each day.

Over the coming months, FastPass+ service is being tested with a limited number of pre-selected participants. We know that many Guests want to give FastPass+ a try, and we ask for your patience during this testing period. In the meantime, same-day FASTPASS service (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/fast-pass/) will be available for all other Guests.

The OP didn't mention the number of FP+ reservations.

The number 4 was about DAYS to complete the sign-up.

After looking at our My Disney Experience web site and 2 phone calls later I found out we are eligible for the bands and FP+. When setting up the FP+ for day one it had me select 3 but threw in a 4th on top of it. The remaining days only 3. Still not sure how I like this but I will play along for now and see how it goes. I will report back after our trip next month about it....:confused:

:blush:This has all gotten me so confused...I am not good with change! Will this only be available if you are on a disney package? I will have room only reservations in May 2014 and am now worried I will not be able to use FP!!!!

1- All the info that's been released says that FP+ will be for everyone.

2- Don't know what level of FP and/or FP+ use will be in operation then.
