How do I explain to my DD...

My daughter (7) is upset that Toon Town Fair is no longer at the MK. She has seen it on the MK DVD that was given to us a couple of years ago. It shows Mickey leaving his home in the morning. She is concerned about where Mickey, Minnie and gang sleep at night now that their homes are gone. What do I tell her? :confused:

Tell her that Cinderella had lots of extra space in the Castle, so they are all living together there.

I agree with this statement. I have always told my little cousins the characters live in the Castle at night. :)

I think Mickey bought a new place at Golden Oak once he realized that if he moved out, he could make space for new attractions to please his guests.

You could also mention that some of them joined the Circus and are staying there

I'd say they're all at Camp Minnie-Mickey at Animal Kingdom.

I did tell her that Cinderella likes mice and that perhaps she invited them to the castle. I also mentioned that we could ask a cast member.
I forget how innocent a seven year old can be. She's afraid the most famous mouse in the world is homeless!

My DS 9 "told" me the other day when he realized the houses were gone that they come from the train stop. He told me the board the train back were the houses used to be and come in the parks for the opening ceremony. If you haven't seen it the characters ride the train and wave from the train station overlooking main street. You could tell her they come from were ever you want and they arrive via the train. I just agreed with what he was saying and didn't really question it but i thought it was cute because he must have really been thinking about that.

Tinkerbell takes them to Neverland.. b/c Toontown and Neverland ended up the same way..
