NHL2K10 for Wii problem

My son had created a bunch of teams and players, and was finishing up one of his teams this morning, and when he went to use it all his teams were gone. This has happened before when he mistakenly pressed a button to log into the internet, so he went to the Wii main menu, took out the disc, but it back in, and reloaded the game. But still, everything he created his gone. His profile is still there and loads, and even replays he saved are there, but when we try to load the replays, it says the teams in the replays are gone. So what happened? How did everything he created, which he spent a very long time on, all get erased just like that?

It sounds like there was a weird saving error going on there or maybe a glitch of some sort. If the game auto-saves, I suggest watching carefully for the saving icon/words to appear. If you manually saved the game (and you're sure you clicked on it), then I am not sure what's wrong and it may be some kind of glitch. Perhaps check the game case/manual and see if there is a support number? Or maybe even just try calling Nintendo Support directly? I'm not sure what to say!
