I thought it would be fun to make threads dedicated to each Disney Florida theme park so fans can tell others what they uniquely love about them.

This one is for Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Please tell us what you think are the best things about DHS, and this is the hard part, that you can't find in the other parks.

I'll start:

Despite its changing nature, it still reminds me of old-time Hollywood. The Great Movie Ride is a must-see for me -- it recreates all the old films I love and reminds me I need to watch them again.

What else?

The Tune-In Lounge with it old tv programs.
The only park I can count on getting turned around, and even lost in, no matter how many times I've been there.

I love the Animation Academy. We have some fabulous drawings that my not so artistic family produced during our visits over the years.

I also really love the One Man's Dream exhibit. My favourite part is Walt's office.

The area-specific music. Walking throug the park and enjoying the atmosphere. The last thing everyday - find a bench on Sunset Blvd directly across from a speaker and enjoying the big band music. Mom always enjoyed doing this and it has been a tradition to this day, especially hearing her favorite song - "Sing Sing Sing". A perfect way to end a perfect day.

2. Tower of Terror
3. Oh yeah... Tower of Terror

Love everything about it, the theming of the queue, interior, the music, and of course the ride! :number1:

This is my least favorite park but I still there are a couple of things I love about it.

1. The Great Movie Ride-my favorite ride in the park, but it does need some updating
2. Fantasmic-a great show everyone must see at least once
3. Starring Rolls-One of our favorite counter services in any park
4. This is really the only park that you can find the Muppets

We love the TS restaurants. We always have a lunch at SciFi. Love 50's. And the Hollywood Brown Derby is our favorite in all WDW.

Used to be my favorite but not so much now. Beauty ad the Beast and the themed dining - especially SciFi.

I used to think it was all about the twin thrills of ToT and RnR. Sure, they are fun, but recently, I've grown to appreciate the importance of attractions like The Great Movie Ride and Muppets 3D.

Also, the restaurants of DHS are very underrated. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and Hollywood & Vine are old favorites, and I recently discovered Mama Melrose's.

Used to love the Villian's in Vogue store, but it's not so much villians any more. Now I would have to say that the thing I like the most is sitting at the Backlot Express and watching the Star Wars Padawan training...very intertaining.

The ending sequence and music in Fantasmic.

Also, giving my wife a hard time all day as she struggles to not call it MGM Studios.

I myself as well as my sister have been in several musicals growing up and as extras in shows. Going to HS makes us appreciate the magic that goes behind the scenes of great Disney films.

Even though DHS has become my least favorite park, there is still tons I love about it.

Just a few:

Sweet Spells - love getting a candy apple, sitting on a bench right outside, and people watching.

Starring Rolls - my morning tradition there is to go first thing and get a fruit tart and coffee, and sit at the tables and you got it, people watch.

Tune-In Lounge - one of the coolest bars/lounges on property.

Great Movie Ride - classic.

Sci-Fi - for years, we avoided this restaurant because of an earlier bad experience. Now we love it!
