Obtaining Disney Rewards Card

A while back, you had to order your Disney Rewards Card and have it sent to your home. Loading it was only a phone call, but obtaining the physical card had to be done in advance and you would bring it with you to WDW.

I think you can now go to Downtown Disney and request and receive your rewards card there while you wait.

Can anyone confirm this?

I got mine on April 18 at AK Guest services. comes in an envelope . you call the 1-800 number and activate it .

Correct, it's now possible to get them on-site. They have them, you need to call Disney Visa and have funds applied, etc.

I always get my card at DTD at customer. All you need to do is show your card and photo I.D..

They have a free phone on the wall you can use but I use my cell phone somewhere quiet as it can get a little noisy there. Call chase and give them the number on the rewards card and other I.D. information and tell them how many rewards you want on the card. Your good to go.

does anyone know how long the rewards cards are good for before they expire. there used to be an expiration date on them is it still that way? thanks

You used to be able to get them at the guest relations (?) window at the parks. It's been a few years, I don't know if they still do this.

I believe it's still December of the year after you get it. So, one obtained today would expire December 2014.
