"Last minute" waitlist question

Here it is May 9 and we are considering a trip for November. This feels like a last minute decision for me since we usually decide well in advance when we will be going. If I put us on a waitlist at this point how good of a chance do I have of it coming through?

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're trying to get boardwalk or Beach Club during F&W, that's a tough one but last year I did have a BW view at BWV clear at about 5 months and a savannah view at AKL clear at six months or so. These were for 1 bedrooms during Jersey Week.

I would book something and then use your two waitlists. IMO you are far enough out still that you have a good chance of getting what you want.
