I know that they are testing this.

I am less than 60 days out from my trip in June-staying on-site.

Is there something I should be doing to get my FP+ reservations? Or is this not "really" in effect-yet? I just don't want to get there and find out I should have had this done.

Also, what Disney app do we need?

We used it last September and I believe they were testing it with people using Magical Express. We received a FedEx package with all the instructions to sign up.

Like Mickey said, chances are FP+ will not be in use for your trip... They are still testing every aspect of this NextGen program... While certain things have been implemented (RFID chips), other things aren't close yet...
