I have seen people with rental boats. I was wondering where can I go to do this. We are staying off property. Are we still able to rent them? Also how old do you have to be to drive one? Do you have to make a reservation? I would love to do something different on this trip. :mickey:

You can do that at the resort marinas. I don't believe you have to be a resort guest to do it. Some of the small one-seater boats you have to be 15 or 16 but the bigger boats is 21.

Just as a note, you will need to leave your Drivers License with them while you have the boat so make sure you bring it with you.

You can rent them at many locations. Downtown Disney, Port Orleans Riverside, Yacht Club, Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness.

I highly recommend renting from one of the resorts on Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon. As an offsite guest, your best bet would be one of the MK resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon, for ease of access.
