View Full Version : Start new job tomorrow

Will, I am back in a pharmacy position - not my first choice of jobs but seems like I end up there.

And hopefully it will work out well since my husband is one of the thousands being furloughed by the Amy. He gets 4 day work weeks for the next 6 months and hopefully will keep his job until he can retire in a little over a year.

Nope, won't matter with my WDW trip. That is one nice thing about these short trips I seem to be taking. Airfare paid, park admission paid,and room almost paid. And no table service meals planned- just counter unless I get there early enough my first night to go to Kona. Short solo trips are great for the budget!

First day of work busy but went fine. A lot different from working at a private full- service pharmacy. We had 4 to 6 pharmacists working at my old job at one time, at the chain pharmacy one is working and you don't handle any extras like compounds, canes, walkers, flu shots,etc.

I am glad to hear it went well. Are you full time or part time?

I's super that it won't interfer with real life....like disney trips!

Glad to hear the first day went well and hope that everything continues going well with your job and your husband. Its always great when it doesn't interfere with a Disney trip too! :thumbsup:
