In regards to my upcoming trip in May, my sister & I plan to eat (and drink) around the world. We want to use our combined snacks and quick services to try cuisine in countries other than our favs:

UK
Morocco
China

Thoughts on what countries are worth our dining plan usage? :tink:

Japan's quick service is one of my favorites, but I always forget the new name.

Tangierine Cafe in Morocco.

Cantina de San Angel in Mexico.

The new bakery in France (sandwiches, baked goods)- now open at 9 am.

The other day, I saw a picture of a soup-sandwich special in Norway that looked amazing, too.

It's not too different from the previous menu, quite a few of the same offerings plus some new things like shrimp udon (I think that's new).

tangerine cafe
fish and chips stand
france (think it's les halles now)

love all three, as I get great food, and can sit somewhere and people watch for a bit...the only issue with the Uk is there is never any seating available. i usually take my fish and chips and walk around to eat while looking over the lake...

The other thing that tips it for me to Katsura Grill is the atmosphere. The outside seating area by the waterfall with the lanterns and view of the pagoda is lovely. Hit it when the taiko are playing and it's perfect.

The French Bakery ***** me in every time. The ham and cheese sandwich (they will toast it for you) is wonderful and inexpensive...plus they have more and better desserts than you could ever imagine.

You have to try a School Bread from the bakery in Norway!

My favorite is a toss up between Norway and Morocco. The sandwiches in Norway are very yummy and on the healthier side of counter service offerings plus you can use those extra calories for dessert like School Bread or a Cloudberry Horn!

I love the platters at Morocco because they are HUGE! Easily sharable between two people so they are an excellent value. If you are on the DDP the only dessert choice is baklava and I am not a big fan so my recommendation is to pay OOP here for a platter and then go to any of the other countries for a dessert.

The updated Boulargerie and Patisserie in France looked awesome. We just had a sweet treat but the menu has really been expanded. Sanwiches and salads at reasonable prices.
