If you rent a car or drive to WDW. Stay on property at a Disney Resort, of course. Do you have to pay to park your car in the lots of the parks if you chose to not use Disney transportation.
Thanks dudddes!!!

As a resort guest you don't pay for parking (except valet) anywhere including your home resort.

You will get a parking pass at the gate to your home resort when you arrive. Leave that in your window and you get free parking throughout the world (all parks etc). The attendant will simply wave you through when they see the pass.

Does this apply to SoG and Swan and Dolphin too?

I don't believe so, neither are Disney owned and operated resorts.

SOG guests do not get free parking at the theme parks.

Guests at the Swan and Dolphin do get free parking at the theme parks because S&D has made an agreement with WDW.

As pp said they are both non-Disney hotels but if a non-Disney hotel makes an agreement then their guests do receive the free parking privilege.

Probably at least part but some of it likely in the room fee as well.

I think that's sad because don't you have to be in the military or severed in the military to stay at SOG? Service men and women should get to park for free at least for what they do for us.

Keep in mind that Disney gives military discounts in the 30% to 40% range at its own hotels which includes free parking. As well there are discounts on the tickets.

The odd thing is that SOG, owned and operated by the US Army, wouldn't get a parking discount worked out. Though, military ticket purchased there do not have tax charged.
