When can I expect to get the statement for taxes???

Did you finance your purchase? I didn't, so I just get the annual dues bill, which shows the taxes paid for my points. That's the paper I use for my taxes.

Are you speaking of the finance papers Pete? We got ours a few weeks ago.

I just received mine a couple days ago, but correct it is only for interest you paid if you finance through them. You can't write off the taxes. You can also call member accounting to get the amount verbally.

It may depend on where you live. We can write off the property taxes here.

As for the information, you can find the correct information online now. Go to the website and your account information. It's right there because I found mine yesterday.

I believe DVC sends a 1098 Form... I know I haven't received it yet but my friend did, and we live in the same state... I called Member Services, Accounting and they told me the forms were sent out right before the end of January... I'm still waiting... This happened to me too last year... DVC was the only form I was waiting for, got everything else by the end of January...

Our DVC was financed thru DVC. I can deduct the interest. Thats what I am waiting for, and still ain't got it. Guess I will call DVC.

You are still waiting for the 1098 form... As am I... I called Accounting last week and was told the forms were mailed by the end of January... Well, as of February 19, still haven't gotten mine... And of course, DVC is all I am waiting for to file my taxes... I'm giving it to this weekend.. If I don't have it by the beginning of next week, they are getting another call and will then have no choice but to over night them to me...

Yes it is, but according to DH the cut off dates for 1098 & 1099's this year is February 28.

Really? They keep moving those dates I cannot keep up anymore LOL... Thanks for letting me know that... Still doesn't explain why it is 3 weeks later and no 1098 if they have been mailed...

Just going thru yesterdays mail, it finally came.Now the only thing holding me from doing my taxes is that my boat got totalled in Superstorm Sandy and waiting to get final results from insurance.
