Pirate League costumes?

My boys and their cousin will be doing Pirates League next week but I have a question about the clothing. If you have done PL I am assuming they have costumes you can purchase and I assume they are expensive? Can anyone tell me if they bought a costume or did you dress your kids "piratey" beforehand? Any suggestions? Does anyone remember about how much the costumes were? Any tips for our Pirate League planning would be helpful. Thanks!!

You are correct in your assumptions. Yes, they have costumes, and yes they are expensive. We bought nice, much cheaper, costumes at Wal-Mart to dress our boys in before we left for the trip. But, that was in September. You might try Party City or on Amazon to find one now.
