Dec. 4, 1982 – The Disney TV show “A Disney Christmas Gift” aired for the first time.
Dec. 4, 1983 – The Disney television movie “Strange Companions” aired in Canada.
Dec. 4, 1987 – Actor Orlando Brown was born in Los Angeles, Ca. His Disney credits include “That’s So Raven,” “Fillmore!,” “Max Keeble’s Big Move,” “The Proud Family,” and even an episode of “Lizzie McGuire.”
Dec. 4, 1992 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “The Distinguished Gentleman” was released.
Dec. 4, 1996 – World famous Rock ‘N’ Roll star Bryan Adams performed a concert on West End Stage in Pleasure Island at WDW.
Dec. 4, 1997 – “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” began at the Magic Kingdom in WDW. (Dates 4,5,8,11,12,18, 19)
Dec. 4, 1998 – A 1931 Mickey Mouse doll sold for 4, 370 pounds (about $7,250) at a Christies Teddy Bear Auction in London, England.
Dec. 4, 1999 – A Disneyland Holiday Celebration aired on KCOP in Los Angeles, Ca. The one hour TV special, featured host Ryan Seacrest, took viewers on a tour of Disneyland’s entertainment and attractions for the holiday season. Among the Disney performers were The Dapper Dans, the Main Street Townsfolk Carolers, and ragtime piano player Rod Miller. Featured musical guest included Jennifer Paige, Barrage, Youngstown and Martina McBride.
Dec. 4, 1999 – Disney animator Marc Davis and his wife Alice were interviewed and filmed for a TV special about Walt Disney (Marc would die a little over 5 weeks later.)
Dec. 4, 1999 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse Works series aired “Daisy’s Road Trip” on ABC-TV.
