2012 Wine & Dine Half Marathon w/ Pictures

John here, posting some pics from the Wine & Dine Half (Finally!). Sorry for the delay, but RL has been WAY busy lately and I haven't had a chance to work on pictures. Anyhoo...here goes!
1 - Our very own mod Christine is ready for her first half marathon!
2 - So are about a bajillion other people!
3 - They're all lined up waiting to go! (Once again, the eventual winner is in the front row...hmmm)
4 - And they're off!
5 - Happy runners embarking on what promises to be a great run!

1 - Lacy, Christine, & Georgesgirl1 join in the fun. (Shout Out!!)
2 - Micky & Minnie wait at the finish line for more runners. (The winner was so fast, he beat me to the finish line! :blush: )
3 - Here he is enjoying a cool drink after smoking the course. It was a 3-peat! And he stopped to meet a character and took 15 pictures along the way! SHOWOFF!! :cool:
4 - Our first teenage finisher of the night. 15 Yrs old and was only 10 mins behind the winner!
5 - The women's champ crosses 2 mins later.

1 - The men's and women's champs were kind enough to pose for a picture.
2 - Yes, the guy on the left ran the last part of the race backwards, and I'm not sure what the guy on the right is doing... :thumbsup:
3 - Gotta love the running outfits!
4 & 5 - The last stretch before the finish had some COOL lighting effects going on!

3 - My favoritest runner brings it home!
4 - Christine gets a rare visit with Remy and Emile.

The after-party was great. We got the park to ourselves and all of the W&D kiosks were open. We were able to get some of our favorites before they went away (Filet and soup from Canada, Escargot and creme brulee from France), and we could ride attractions as well. Fun Fun!

I don't think you're supposed to look so good after running a half-marathon, Christine. You look fantastic! I know I wouldn't (besides the fact that I would be found flat out, face down somewhere near the start). But great work! Thanks for the pictures. Sounds like a fun after-run time.

The pictures are great! I ran as well and it was my first 1/2 also! It was such a great time I'm already planning on running next year!

Thanks for posting these pics Christine! It looks like you all had so much fun! You inspire me to keep on keeping on with my Weight Watchers challenge! I sure hope I get to the point where I can run a 1/2 marathon! Working at 5 Ks right now! Thanks again! And keep up the great work!:thumbsup:
