Nov. 14, 1981 – Disney’s part-1 of the 2-part TV movie “A Disney Storybook” aired. (Part-1 featured Mickey and the Beanstock, Dumbo, Part-2 aired Nov. 21, 1981 and featured “Working for Peanuts.”)
Nov. 14, 1991 – At Disneyland, 251 new citizens from 61 countries were sworn-in as U.S. citizens as part of ceremonies in Town Square on Main Street USA, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Bill of Rights.
Nov. 14, 1992 - The Annie Awards were handed out at ATAS Plaza Theatre in Los Angeles, Ca. Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” won Best Animated Feature. Among the 3 Winsor McCay Award winners was the late Les Clark, one of Walt’s “Nine Old Men.”
Nov. 14, 1997 – The 22nd Annual “Festival of the Masters” began at Downtown Disney Marketplace in WDW. (Formerly Disney Village Marketplace)
Nov. 14, 1998 – The Disney/Pixar computer-animated feature film “A Bug’s Life” premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Ca. (It would be generally released later in the month.)
Nov. 14, 1998 – The “ABC Super Soap Weekend” (2-day event) began at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW.
Nov. 14, 2000 – The soundtrack for Disney’s “The Emperor’s New Groove,” featuring the music of John Debney, Sting, and David Hartley was released.
Nov. 14, 2000 – Disney released both “Fantasia” and “Fantasia/2000” on DVD and VHS.
Nov. 14, 2000 – The ‘Disney Club” was launched replacing the “Magic Kingdom Club.”
Nov. 14, 2001 – The 7th Annual Marc Davis Lecture on Animation took place in Los Angeles, Ca.
