Nov. 4, 1955 – The Mickey Mouse Club aired the episode “Today is Talent Round-Up Day” on ABC-TV.
Nov. 4, 1962 – The NBC-TV series Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color aired part-2 of “Sammy, the Way-Out Seal.”
Nov. 4, 1983 – Disney’s live-action TV series “Five Mile Creek” debuted on the Disney Channel.
Nov. 4, 1988 – The Dinsney film “The Good Mother” was re-released.
Nov. 4, 1990 – The Disney Channel aired the 1st American Teacher Awards.
Nov. 4, 1991 – Disney Legend Roger Broggie passed away. A 50-year veteran of the Disney Company, Broggie’s mechanical ability touched many Disneyland and World’s Fair attractions. In the early days he worked at the studios with Ub Iwerks on special effects (including the infamous multiplane camera.)
Nov. 4, 1994 – The 1st Walt Disney Gallery opened at MainPlace in Santa Ana, Ca.
Nov. 4, 2001 – Disney’s “Recess Christmas: Miracles on Third Street” was released on DVD and VHS.
Nov. 4, 2001 – The staff of Disney Magazine put on their Mary Poppins outfits for the East Coast premiere of the film’s sing along at the Northampton Film Festival.
Nov. 4, 2001 – Disney’s “Triton’s Kingdom” attraction opened at King Triton Castle in Mermaid Lagoon at Tokyo DisneySea.
