Nov. 3, 1998 – The “Skyway” at Tokyo Disneyland, running since the debut in 1983, closed.
Nov. 3, 2001 – Susan Lucci and a calvalcade of soap opera stars appeared during the 6th Annual “ABC Super Soap Weekend at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW.
Nov. 3, 2001 – Disney’s “LuminAria,” a new nighttime show at Disney’s California Adventure featuring fireworks, had a rehearsal after park operating hours.
Nov. 3, 2001 – Effective on this day, the WDW resort, Port Orleans (French Quarters) closed.
Nov. 3, 2002 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “Home Alone 4” for the first time.
Nov. 3, 2003 – Michael Eisner, Chairman and CEO of Disney, appeared at the Harris Nesbitt Gerard Playtime Investor Conference. His comments and responses during the question and answer session were broadcast live via Webcast.
Nov. 3, 2003 – The Mnyama Safari, meaning Sunset Safari, began exclusively for Concierge Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at WDW.
Nov. 3, 2003 – Sara Bishop, Juan Aviles and Christopher Stewart were named the 2004 Walt Disney World Ambassador Team at a ceremony in the Magic Kingdom.
Nov. 3, 2006 – The Disney film “Santa Clause 3: The Escape NoClause” opened in theaters.
Nov. 3, 2006 – The “Hannah Montana” episode “People Who Use People” aired on the Disney Channel.
