Is the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular the same as Holiday Wishes(MVMCP nights)? We will be going on a non-party night with "Wishes Nighttime Spectacular". We'll be eating at Ohana's on a MVMCP night and it has "Holiday Wishes" listed. Are they the same thing or different?

Also, where all can you see Wishes from? What all resorts, parks, etc? Where are the best places to see them from at each place? Thanks!

1- Is the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular the same as Holiday Wishes(MVMCP nights)?

We will be going on a non-party night with "Wishes Nighttime Spectacular".

2- We'll be eating at Ohana's on a MVMCP night and it has "Holiday Wishes" listed. Are they the same thing or different?

3- Also, where all can you see Wishes from? What all resorts, parks, etc? Where are the best places to see them from at each place? Thanks!

1- Completely different show.
2- Christmas Wishes begins at 9:30PM .
It has many different fireworks than "Wishes" as well as a completely different
soundtrack (music and "story.)

3- Poly:
Ohana' (audio is piped in)
Poly beach (one of the best spots outside MK, audio is piped in)

TTC:
Near the boarding dock of the Ferry Boats Poly beach (audio is piped in)
But you are not allowed to stand in the
Ferry loading area.

Grand Floridian:
You can see them from the boat-dock and an outside
observation deck near Narcoossee's restaurant at the
Grand Floridian. Anyone can stand on Narcoossee's Deck.
The outside deck is not a part of the actual restaurant. (All serving is done inside.)
The deck is accessed from the sidewalk outside the restaurant.
Also, good viewing from the Patio overlooking the Marina.
The sound of the show is piped into these areas too.

Contemporary:
There is viewing on an outdoor
observation area on the 4th floor.
The California Grill observation areas are reserved for patrons that day of the Grill or Bar.

Wilderness Lodge:
The "secret place" to watch the MK fireworks is from the northern area of the Cast Member (CM) Parking Lot. (NO audio piped in)

Fort Wilderness Campgrounds:
At the Marina, some of the view (especially of the "Fantasyland" pyro) is blocked by the now unused Discovery Island in Bay Lake and by the high-rise buildings of the Contemporary Resort.
But, the view from the Ft. Wilderness' sand beach (farther north) is more open.
Still the tree-level can block the views of the lower-firing pyro.

----------------------------------

As for viewing from INSIDE the dining area of restaurants
(you usually need ADRs for most, and they are usually busy during the shows)...
you can see (and hear) them at California Grill at Contemporary,
'Ohana at Poly, Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian,
and (if you have access there) the Top of the World at Bay Lake Tower.

Thank you so much for the detailed information!!! We have ADRs at Ohanas for 8:05pm, so more than likely we'll still be there when Christmas Wishes starts. Can you see it from anywhere inside the restaurant? Or should we request a window seat if possible? It sounds like it will be a great ending to our meal. :)

It's a lot different from the regular Wishes, and in my opinion, not nearly as good as the regular Wishes.

1- Yes.
2- Yes. (There are lots of huge MK-facing windows in 'Ohana.)
They dim the lights and pipe the audio of the fireworks into the restaurant.
