Do people still "fax" their room requests to the resorts??? Faxing seems so outdated. LOL

No need to fax a request. You just need to make sure it's noted on your reservation. The cast member at check-in will work with you if your request wasn't granted during room assignment.

No. Faxes, in general, had low success rate because the CMs were overwhelmed with them. The best way to make a room request now is to have it noted on your reservation.

When we make our resort request with Debbie at MJ, we list our very specific very very specific needs and request. She also recommended to NOT do on-line check in just in case we need to adjust something. Every stay has been exactly as we needed and more.
Your a lot better off to make specific request up front and then Disney has them noted.

And be sure to pick up Disney World music, new on audio cassette! Yeah, faxing has gone the way of the Time Keeper at Disney. Just make a request through your travel agent or call the Disney reservation line.

Like everyone has said, faxes aren't the way to go. Either call your TA and have them note it in your reservation, or call Disney if you booked yourself.

If you check in online there are also a limited number of things you can request too...

Have a great trip!:mickey:
