Hi! I'm new here :)

I've been a Disney nut since I was a kid and took my first trip to WDW. My husband and I spend our honeymoon at Disney and now we are getting ready for our DD's very first trip.

We will be going next October for DD's 5th birthday. I'm already so excited!

I look forward to being a part of this forum :)

5 is such a fabulous age for a Disney birthday. We celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday in April and my son's 6th birthday last October. It is so much fun. I'm sure you will have a great time!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I look forward to being active on here as I plan our trip.

We haven't booked yet - we'll be doing that next month. So I don't think it will feel real until we've put down our deposit. I can't wait to see my daughter make that walk down Main Street to the Castle - though I'm probably going to cry

I suspect this is a certainty!!

I think it is - since I tear up just thinking about it. But then, I always cry a little when I see the Castle for the first time on a trip - but they are happy tears! :cloud9:

I don't have kids of my own, but cried like a baby when my niece saw the castle for the first time. Anyone that doesn't believe in magic just needs to watch a child see Disney for the first time!

Tearing up while watching your daughter go down Main Street for the first time is encouraged by all INTERCOTEES. It is part of the magic.
