Transferring points: once per year?

I know you can transfer in/out points once per year, but I assume that's once per calendar year and not once per use year?

In one of the guide books it says once per membership or annual use year. I take that to mean use year not calender year.

And remember its once per contract (sending or receiving). So if you have two contracts, transferring points between them kills them both at the same time.
