Oct. 3, 1996 - IllumiNations 25 made its official debut at Epcot.
Oct. 3, 1996 – Walt Disney Records released “Mouse House: Disney’s Dance Mixes.”
Oct. 3, 1997 – The Epcot Space Celebration blasted off at WDW. The 5-day event was co-sponsored by NASA.
Oct. 3, 1998 - Disney.com Internet Zone powered by Gateway opened at Innoventions East, and Epcot Discovery Center closed.
Oct. 3, 1998 – Disneyland’s attraction “Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes” closed.
Oct. 3, 1998 – Disney Channel Italia (or Disney Channel Italy) officially began broadcasting in Italian on Telepiu (an Italian digital satellite television platform.)
Oct. 3, 1999 - The Best of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance closed at The American Adventure but will return in June 2000.
Oct. 3, 1999 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “H-E-Double Hockey Sticks.”
Oct. 3, 2000 - The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad was released on home video.
Oct. 3, 2000 – Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” was released on VHS and DVD.
