Okay, so at times, months have 31 days, so I am starting this one month countdown today, even though "officially", tomorrow is the one-month-to-go date.

So here is your trivia for this day:
1 month 19 hours 7 minutes 40 seconds or
4 weekends or
31 days or
739 hours (493 waking hours) or
44,347 minutes or
2,660,859 seconds
to go...

Trivia for the day:

Stroll around Liberty Square and take note of the doors which all have a two-digit number on them. They are designed to look like street addresses, however, if you put an "18" in front of the number, you will know the year that style of house would have been popular.. . One other fact... the date over the entry door to the Hall of Presidents is the year the US Constitution was ratified.

It's now less than a month to go!!! As of tomorrow it will be 4 weeks until my trip! I'm so excited to be going by myself this time! Not that I wouldn't love to have hubby and son along with me, but it's been a long time since I've had a vacation that doesn't have to cater to anyone but me! I won't have to rush out of a park because my kid doesn't like fireworks, I don't have to answer the question, "So what are we doing for dinner?" Just me, taking care of my desires, while hanging with good friends. (Happy sigh)

You should notice how it seems to follow you -- No matter what side you start from, the bomber will turn, always pointing in your direction.

I've started my 15 day countdown with A Disney Movie A Day. Last night I watched Newsies, today I was going to pop in Sleeping Beauty but Hercules was on ABC Family so I counted that instead. Will do Sleeping tomorrow night, but any suggestions for Tuesday's selection? I have most classics from the 90's and some Pixar, and most animated films from the 60's and 70's.

I feel like an orphan who has found his family.

Aww...Column, that's so sweet. Don't you know though, you have always had a family here!

Right. The family who, when told where to find me said, "What thing in the middle of the UK? Oh yeah. I just usually walk right past it."

I have ears, you know.

Well, not really. But I have protuberances coming out of each stone face and they are very sensitive.

How am I even typing this? Gotta go. There's a kid trying to climb me.

In China, in the Yong Feng Shangdian, you will discover a weathered copper bowl with handles n each side. This bowl holds a few inches of water in it. Dip your finger in the water and rub it in a circle around the bowl rim (with pressure) the bowl will sing, but the vibrations from your finger will cause the water to ripple, and then suddenly jump and splash.

I've done this in the past! Glad it is still there. My DH does this to our wine glasses at home to make the "singing" noise and it drives me crazy...just do the dishes already, jeeeze:dishes:

Countdown STORY of the day..
Okay, I read this last night and still have not stopped laughing - so thought I'd share it with you - sorry its not trivia, but still worth sharing!!!

We were staying at Saratoga Springs about 6 years ago. There were a total of 7 of us (kids, niece, etc). We were leaving to go to the parks one morning and when we came around the corner the elevator was at our floor open so the kids ran and caught it. Everyone got in and I was the last. I worked my way into the middle and the doors closed. Well I was like "Hey I could fart right now on the elevator and the kids would think it was hilarious." Well without looking around I ripped a good one but everyone just got big eyed and started looking at each other strangely but I finally just burst out laughing. Then my older son says "Ummm daddy there is someone else on the elevator right behind you!" I thought he was kidding but I turned around and there was this guy right behind me. There were so many of us, he just blended into the crowd on the elevator and I didn't notice him when I got on. I had just raised one leg and farted all over this dude like I did it on purpose or something. I turned bright red in embarrassment and apologized. The guy was pretty cool about it and started laughing a little and said it was ok we were all on vacation but you could tell that he would have preferred that it not been sprayed all over him. lol

Gotta love the way Disney uses perspective to trick the eye. Now, does anyone know how to use this magic, because I would love to use that special "perspective" to look about 50 more pounds smaller starting say, Thursday of this week until Sunday! After all, I will be at Disney, so it would only be right to share just a little of that "perspective magic", right?
