Disney World gift cards in the parks??

What exactly can you use a Disney World gift card in WDW? I am just wondering if it can be used on everything or if you are limited in what you can use it for.

I think you can pretty much use it anywhere for anything, so long as the outlet has a credit card swipe machine. (i.e. everywhere except tiny snack carts where it's only cash)

I've used them for resort payments, dining, gift shops. I can't think of any place on property that didn't accept it. Food & Wine kiosks accept it, not sure about some of the other kiosks, as the previous poster mentioned.
