I know there is some information here under the info tab, but we will be there in November with our 6 month old. Would love to hear some more about how this works. We have a few rides (not many) that our entire party will want to ride. For example, Splash Mountain. How would this work? Does our whole group walk up to the entrance to the ride and tell the cast memeber we want to do rider swap? Will only one person be allowed to sit out with our DS?? We don't want to make someone wait for 40 mintues by themselves with just a 6 month old. Would they be allowed to wait in line with us and take the "Chicken Out" exit??

Any advice/stories from fellow Intercotees that have used rider swap would be helpful!

Would they be allowed to wait in line with us and take the "Chicken Out" exit??

Anyone under the minimum height requirement (like a small child) cannot enter or traverse the queue.

We used in Feb. your party including the 6 month old will go to the exit of the ride and tell the cast member you would like to rider swap. They will give you a fast pass that will allow 4 people to ride the ride. Your party waits in the standard line and after your done up to 4 people can use the fast pass line to ride.

It worked great for us and was very easy!

Tell the CM you will need a rider swap pass. One of you & up to 3 other ppl will go on the regular line while the other stays with the baby. When that 1st person gets off the ride the 2nd person takes the RS pass & goes right onto the fastpass line along with again up to 3 other ppl.

There will be some waiting involved, but the baby swap essentially cuts the time in half. Some folks will even grab a fastpass for a ride so that they can go ride real quick, and the person holding the baby swap pass can then go on. It can cut back on some of the time.

Anyone under the minimum height requirement (like a small child) cannot enter or traverse the queue. Not true. The entire party can go through the line, and the "waiters" will be directed to the waiting area.

When you get to the entrance of the attraction:

1) Inform the Cast Member at the entrance - *NOT* the exit - that you will need a "Rider Switch".
2) The entire party can go through the line, and the "waiters" will be directed to the waiting area.
3) The first group goes through, using *either* FastPasses *OR* through the Stand-by line (if available).
4) After the first group is done, your "Rider Switch" pass is good FOR UP TO THREE PEOPLE (*not* "you and three other people, as someone else stated - UNLESS this has changed since I worked there).
5) The "Rider Switch" group will go through the FastPass Return line (if available), or through the designated entrance (ask the CM out in front of the attraction if you're not sure where to go).
