:elf: One of your cast members was kind enough to let me know of a "soft opening" of the new Fantasyland before the official Dec. 6 Grand Opening...any chance Test Track will have a "soft opening" before the Dec.1 official re-opening? Thank you ! :santa3:

I too would be jumping for joy if they had soft openings early Oct but doubt it will happen that early.

There are no official announcements saying that Dec. 1 will be the actual opening date.
It's just been "alluded to" as that being a possible re-opening date.

Some reports say that it might be much later,
but those are far from official proclamations, too.

Stay tuned for an official announcement.

Did they really do all that much to the ride? Or was it just some paint and some new scenes? I can't see why it would take longer than their estimated time.

They didn't change the track, I believe, but they supposedly did a lot of construction on the scenery both inside and out, changed the preshow entirely, as well as the after show. So, it's a complete makeover, with the same track. I don't know what was done to the ride vehicles.

That would be awesome!!! We are there mid-October. Missed it dearly on our last two trips to EPCOT.

There are soft openings already for the new Storytime with Belle. Just have to be lucky enough to have a cast member in Fantasyland come up to you & ask if they can have an hour of your time. Say YES!

They have been asking ppl to take a sneak peak for the last week or so. Lots of picts & video already online of such.

We just returned yesterday. No Test Track sure made the EPCOT EMH very boring.

Aw, I had forgotten Test Track was down. My BF will be going with us in October and it will be his first time in EPCOT in over ten years! This was sure to be one he would like! Bummer! At least there is the F&W Festival! :)

I have also heard Nov 19th - but I know TA's and some other lucky ones have gotten to see Enchanted Tales with Belle.

We are there the 2nd week of November - really hoping to get in on some soft-soft-openings at new FL and TT :mickey:

We'll be there late Nov/early Dec and I really hope it's open! My DD would love this ride and it's been YEARS since I've ridden! :mickey:

I'll be there in 12 days.. so gonna miss Test Track. Hoping the updates are great, it was my DS's favorite ride!
