Aug. 30, 1991 – Disney’s syndicated TV series “The Challengers” aired its last show.
Aug. 30, 1991 – A monorail train collided with a diesel maintenance work tractor near Disney’s Contemporary Resort as the tractor drove closely on front of the train to film it for a commercial. Two cast members were treated at a hopital for injuries.

With the ability to run nearly 4 mph, the all-new ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) humanoid robot interacts with a live host in a new 15-minute science show.
