View Full Version : Wi Fi avail in the MK!

Just read on another site that wi-fi is now avail at the MK & should be avail in the other parks in the coming months :party: This is great new for me as I dont have a smart phone so I can now take my Ipod with me to check on line wait times & show times etc. October is looking up for me :thumbsup:

Why'd ya read it on another site? Coulda read it on INTERCOT (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=193285). ;)

Well I thought i'd let those know 1st since it was not listed on Intercot yet. Just trying to be nice.

And of the several sites I look at, Intercot was dead last by quite a bit in posting it. That happens fairly frequently.

Thanks Dyanna for the heads up, I knew it was available at the resorts, but not the MK.

Thanks Dyanna :mickey: I'm hoping to give it a try in August.

With the WiFi comes the testing of NextGenFP in MK from Aug 14 - 20, would love to be picked for that.

I thought they had done some testing of this system back in May?? Did I confuse some other sort of testing?

Thanks for the info Dyanna. Since I don't have a smartphone either, I'll be sure to have one DD bring hei ipod.

They did do testing for 2 weeks in May. I have a feeling the need for retesting came about because they ran into too many people that either didn't have a smartphone or were not willing to use their data. Retesting with the wifi in place will probably give them broader results.

I know it happens already but I can't wait for all the new brite smartphones in the dark rides.

Hopfully the Disney App will have all dark muted colors.

Good point. Hopefully people will be considerate (but I guess I am not holding my breath).
