Deep Purple's Jon Lord dies

Jon Lord, the keyboardist of the Mark2 lineup of Deep Purple has died of cancer.:( He was 71.
Smoke on the Water was one of his songs.

I had no idea that this happened. DH is a big DP fan and I've seen them twice with him. John Lord was an amazing keyboardist. Thanks for the info.
