When do you make your room requests? We are staying at BCV in July. I haven't asked for any specific area yet. I would like to get a room with maybe a partial view of Illuminations and not above the area that sounds like a garage door going up and down at 5 am.

We usually make our requests when we book.

The sound of the garage door is probably trash pick-up. We had the dumpster room at VWL one year and it was an extremely loud wakeup call at 5AM. :(

How do you request to not be in a room that is by those things, garages, the conveyor belt for luggage, dumpster etc.... ?

You might request something along the lines of Epcot view, away from service area. I always list the most important item first, then the other.
