Hello all ...heading to WDW in December and I am wondering if the new fantasy land is gonna be open by then? any word on the expansion? they say late 2012 ...just wondering if ill be able to see it all done ?!?! :mickey::mickey:

With the exception of the 7 Dwarves coaster, everything else should be open (if everything goes well).

I'm not sure about everything else ... I think there are some things that are lingering well into 2013. I know they're saying the SDMC won't be open until 2014.

But some of the other new attractions like the Little Mermaid ride will be open by December so you should get to see a good bit of it.

Yes it is, there was even a picture of them side-by-side on the INTERCOT facebook pages today.

Yes, true that the second Dumbo is now uncovered, but as of yesterday, it wasn't running yet. Hopefully very soon!

Just curious - is the new Barnstormer coaster actually the same structure as the old Barnstormer in Toontown? Or did they tear that one down and start from scratch?

As far as I could tell, the track was the same. The ride was repurposed for the new story line.

As Sean said, same track with new theming of the Great Goofini. They did switch the entrance and exit queues though.
