We are making a trip to Orlando in July and staying off site for the first time, where is the best or cheapest place/website to buy tickets? We are planning on visiting WDW for 2 days and Universal for 2 days, do you have to go consecutive days if you buy a 2 day pass?

Official Ticket Center is probably your best bet. Generally, Disney doesn't discount tickets all that much, you'll likely only save but a couple bucks on a 2 day ticket.

You could probably save a bundle by deciding on either WDW or Universal and spending your whole trip at either.

Universal is looking pretty good these day honestly, if you're never been, they have probably the top attractions in Orlando right now.

I think SpiderMan is still the best ride in all the parks, and Harry Potter World is getting high marks. Even though I have no desire, you can't fight statistics, and it does look like it's luring folks from the Mouse House.

You might as well just buy your 2-day Disney ticket at a Disney gate, because no ticket sellers sell a 2-day ticket for less than Disney charges.

With a 2-day ticket, you can use the second day any time within 14 days of the day you use the first day of the ticket.

In fact, for a 2-day base ticket, Official Ticket Center is MORE expensive than buying directly from Disney (it gets cheaper for the bigger tickets, however).

A 2-day base ticket from OTC is $192.44 if you pick it up at their Kissimmee office and $200.44 if they ship it to you.

By contrast, that same 2-day ticket at a Disney ticket window costs $176 + tax for a total of $187.44.

But at the gate. :mickey:

Ouch! A 4 Day Universal 'park hopper" is $153.99 plus tax. That's where you'll see the savings, visit one resort or the other...
