Up until this year they held triathlons in Bay Lake, Ironman Florida 70.3 and the Danskin. This year neither race will be held at DW, not because of naegleria fowleri, alligators, etc., but because of construction at Ft. Wildenress which I am guessing is due to the early stages of the DVC construction at the old River Country site.
Am I right? Does anyone have more information? Does anyone know if this means WDW will no longer host triathlons?
